It's that time of year again; the unofficial start to the spring building season in the Interior. The 2008 Northern Living Home Show will be this weekend, March 28th, 29th and 30th.
This is the building and home show for Interior Alaska featuring 150+ vendors representing every aspect of the real estate, finance, construction and design trade. Thinking of building or remodeling? Need to talk finance? Want to buy a new Bobcat? Curious about cold climate research? Any question you can think of can be answered this weekend.
In addition to the vendors there will be numerous seminars throughout the weekend including "Practical Solutions for building on Permafrost by Soils Alaska, "Insulated Concrete Homes" by Phil Summers, Maxximum Construction, "Building Energy Efficient Homes" by Terry Duszynski and Randy Wakefield and "Build it yourself or Hire A General Contractor" by Richard Tilly, Brent LeValley and Mark Martin. The Home Show will be going on all weekend at the Carlson Center Friday from 2PM - 8PM, Saturday from 10AM - 7PM and Sunday from 11AM - 5PM. This years theme is "Your Home is Your Castle." Come join us and celebrate the unofficial start of the spring season!
